The Kotlarz Sisters

Kelli, Amy, and Erin are three gorgeous sisters who wanted to do something really special for their mom's 60th birthday. As a surprise, the syblings and their spouses and kiddo wanted to present their mom with a portrait. After weeks of planning and rescheduling due to rain and work conflicts, we finally gathered downtown for a late afternoon family portrait session. It was so much fun to work with these cute people! Thanks so much for calling and letting me run around shooting you guys for an afternoon! I can't wait to hear how your mom reacted when she saw your photo! I hope you got that on film! :)

Jodi + Caleb | Married

On a sun drenched afternoon, Jodi and Caleb celebrated their wedding at Lake Point Conference Center in Russellville, AR. It is a lovely area that has a summer camp meets college campus vibe to it. The ceremony was held in the pavilion. Immediate family and honored guests were seated in rows at the front by the action. Round tables, chairs, and cocktail tables were scattered throughout the rest of the pavilion with simple floral arrangements for the other 200 guests. It was warm, but not too hot. And it was sunny! It was a perfect day to get married. Jodi's bridesmaids were gorgeous in their pink, strapless, knee length dresses. Caleb's groomsmen were dapper in their tuxes. Everyone was glowing. Everyone was sooo excited that this day had come! These two people, this perfect match, were finally getting married! It was so much fun to see the simple, sweet, honest commitment that these two have for each other. They love each other. Simple as that. There were minor hickups throughout the day, but everyone just rolled with the punches and maintained perspective - Jodi and Caleb were getting married! What else REALLY matters? Thanks so much for asking me to document your day. It was a treat. Truly. I wish you both all the best the world has to offer. Enjoy your honeymoon to the fullest! We'll talk when you get home. Hugs to you both and your families! You are all so dear!

Best -

Mary

Jodi's details included the shoes her now mother-in-law wore at her own wedding. Love it!

A final kiss from Mom before Jodi went to see her groom for the first time.

Waiting patiently for his bride.

Jodi | Beautiful Bride

Jodi and Caleb tied the knot last Saturday, so it is now safe to show off some of Jodi's beautiful bridal shots! In preparation for the celebration, Jodi and I met to capture some portraits of her in her wedding gown! The weeks leading up to our session, it rained... constantly! We took these photos one week before their wedding, so it was very important that rain or shine we had a place to be. There was no time to reschedule! Jodi reserved the Old State House to be on the safe side, but wouldn't you know it - it was GORGEOUS the day of the shoot! The Old State House was perfect, though. It is a beautiful building filled with history and surrounded by beautiful grounds in the heart of downtown Little Rock. It was a perfect backdrop for sweet Jodi! Jodi has such a fun spirit. She's kind, gentle, and has a real zest for life. She's spunky and cute! She's a real catch! Now they are married and are gearing up for their honeymoon. I wish you both all the best in the world and CAN'T WAIT to get some photos of your beautiful wedding day up for all to see!
